How do I place a booking for a Villa/Bungalow?
At the bottom of each advertised Villa/Bungalow
page there is some orange text stating "click here to send email".
Once you have found the Villa/Bungalow you would like to book click
on the orange text and send us an email enquiring about availability
for your holiday dates. Please also state how many people will be
in your party. Do NOT change the subject line as
this contains the code for the particular Villa/Bungalow you are
enquiring about.
If the property is not available we will either
give you the closest dates it is available or if there is an alternative
Villa/Bungalow we will let you know.
Once you have received our reply and you wish to
go ahead with a booking you then email (or phone) us stating you
would like to book the Villa/Bungalow. We will then contact you with
our UK banking details for you to place your deposit in. At the same
time we reserve the property for your holiday dates.

When can I book our flights?
You can safely book your flights once we have contacted you with
our bank details. Please do not book flights before you have these
details.

What deposit do you require from me?
£50.00 - we only require a very small deposit in order to
reserve the Villa/Bungalow for your holiday dates. This stops anyone
else from booking it.

How do I pay the deposit?
We will supply you with our UK bank details. You
can either transfer your deposit online (if you have online banking)
or you can go to any National Westminster bank in the UK and use
a deposit slip. Please make sure you put your name on this slip so
that we know the payment has come from you.

How will you know the deposit has been made?
We have an online banking facility with our bank which we can check
(even from Tenerife) and once we see your name by a credit payment
we will know you have made your deposit. It is also helpful if you
drop us an email to let us know so that we can look out for your
name.

How long will you hold the Villa/Bungalow until I make the deposit?
We will hold the Villa for one whole week to give you time to pay
the deposit into our bank.

When and how do I pay
the balance?
You do not need to pay the balance until you arrive in Tenerife.
When we meet you at the Villa/Bungalow with the keys only then do
we expect you to pay the balance. And only once we know you are happy
with the accommodation. We will not accept cheques - please bring
the cash with you in £ sterling.

Why don't we have to pay the balance until we get to Tenerife?
Simple - We are not like the big holiday companies and travel agents
who have company policies to abide by. We are merely private people
taking bookings on behalf of our friends, therefore we want you to
feel safe when booking a Villa/Bungalow with us. We know there are
many unscrupulous people out there on the internet and we just want
to make you feel easy about booking with us.

What happens if I need to cancel my booking?
If you have the misfortune to need to cancel your booking please
send us an email (or telephone us). You will unfortunately lose your
deposit as we would have stopped anyone else from booking that property
whilst your booking was in effect. We don't like doing this, however
you need to understand that the idea of a deposit is to stop other
people from booking that particular property.

What time can we gain
access to the Villa/Bungalow on arrival?
Check-in time is always 2pm. We need to give our cleaners enough
time to prepare the property for you.

Will someone meet us at the Villa/Bungalow when we arrive?
Yes, either my wife Eileen or myself (Jim) will meet you with the
keys. The only time we will not meet you is if you have a very late
arrival time. Should this be the case the keys will be left in a
designated place at the property and we will pop round to see you
the following day.

How do we get to Amarilla Golf from the airport?
We normally strongly advise all our guests to take a taxi from
the airport. There are always lots of taxis there. Amarilla Golf
is not an easy place to find (unless you've been there before).

far from the airport is Amarilla Golf?
Amarilla Golf is approximately 15 minutes drive from the airport.

What time do we have to vacate the Villa/Bungalow?
Check-out is always 10am. We need to give our cleaners plenty of
time to prepare the Villa/Bungalow for the next set of guests arriving.
We have to be very strict about this so please try to book your return
flights for an early departure.

What do we do if we
have a late departure flight from Tenerife?
If you are unable to get an early departure flight from Tenerife,
as stated above you would have to vacate the property by 10am. Most
of the time we can help you by storing your luggage in our own Villa
until you have to leave for the airport. However, we do sometimes
have evening commitments but we would advise you of this and you
would then need to collect your luggage earlier.

Will we need to bring our own bed linen and towels?
Of course not, these are provided for you. All the beds are pre-made
with bed-linen before your arrival and you will receive either 4
sets or 6 sets of bath and face towels (4 for a 2 bed and 6 for a
3 bed). You should however bring your own beach towels with you as
these are not provided.
If you have booked a 2 week holiday you will be supplied with another
set of bed-linen and towels halfway through your stay.

Do you provide a maid service?
No - these are all self-catering Villas and Bungalows. We are always
on hand if you encounter any problems during your stay, but we do
not provide any maid service. If you require a maid service type
of holiday you should book a hotel as they are set up for that kind
of service, self-catering accommodation is not.

Do I need to hire a car?
Amarilla Golf is a rural area of Tenerife and there is no bus service.
If you wish to explore the island or make a few visits to the main
areas such as Los Cristianos or Playa de las Americas then a hired
car is strongly advised.
If you really don't want to drive and only wish to occasionally
visit other places of interest then you can get a taxi.

Are there any bars/restaurants at Amarilla Golf?
Yes, there are a few bars/restaurants where you can go to eat and
drink and there is also a local supermarket. These are only a short
walk away from the Villas/Bungalows. Amarilla Golf is like a small
village, so please don't expect to find vast amounts of bars/restaurants.
